BATU SAPI:- The clogged manhole at Taman Mawar shoplots had been cleared
by the Public Works Department (JKR) recently.
The work was carried out by a team of workers from the JKR
Sewage Unit after the problem was brought to the attention of JKR Sandakan by
Batu Sapi Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin.
The Batu Sapi MP Office received many complaints from
residents and business operators in Taman Mawar on the clogged manholes, and
the problem was highlighted to the JKR for further action, Linda said.
JKR workers were sent to carry out work to clear the blocked
manholes and the problem had since being addressed.
Residents and shop operators gave the thumbs up to Linda for
her prompt response to their complaints and also JKR for clearing the clogged
facilities.
Also present was Head Liaison Officer of Batu Sapi MP Office
Kong Nyuk Thou and other officers.
