Sapi Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin visited two markets to
meet with hawkers and the public during her “turun padang” routine yesterday.
Linda took the opportunity
to chat with the hawkers at Bandar Ramai Ramai Market and the new Karamunting
Market in Bandar Nam Tung, to gather feedback on their business operation and
problems.
“Some of the issues raised
by the hawkers will be looked into and brought to the attention of the relevant
authorities for solutions,” Linda said.
Linda’s visit was well
received by the hawkers at the two markets. They thanked the Member of
Parliament for her concerns to the problems faced by them.
Also present were Sandakan
Municipal Council Public Complaints Officer Maimuna Piasing and Head Liaison
Officer of Batu Sapi MP Office Kong Nyuk Thou.
