SEKONG: - totally irresponsible actions of the Oil Mill   Prolifik doing waste disposal directly into the river Segaliud polluted river and this has caused many problems to the public health aspects.

Segaliud River is the main water supply source watershed statewide in Sandakan and the consequences of waste materials from factories near the river water has been contaminated by a variety of impurities.

  

 DIRTY WATER CONTAMINATED ..... as the main source of water supplied  for the entire region Sandakan

Member of the Legislative Assembly (assemblyman) of Sekong area  Datuk Hj Samsudin Yahya  after being informed by the villagers rushed Segaliud visit the place concerned with the Sandakan District Environment Officer, Sandakan Municipal Council officer  (MPS) and with the villagers involved.

 

In a review of  the Environmental officer with Samsudin was brought   at the side  river and they have personally observed the water which seems waste water  not only dirty drain water even stink.

He said the Department of Environment scooters to take stern action against the factory owners dedicated Prolific Oil Palm Plantations having made pollution on the river which is the main source of water supply to the entire area of ​​Sandakan.

"The government can not tolerate any act of irresponsible as this will destroy the people when keep using dirty water is collected from the contaminated river" he said.

In the meantime all Segaliud villagers thanked the Sekong assemblyman (Samsudin) because really  concerned about the problems of this is a people-oriented leader who seaway s supported forever.
