SANDAKAN : - Between the ages of 18 to 34 years old Filipino who run prostitution
in 44 blocks of buildings has been apprehended by police on Sunday
afternoon.
District police chief ACP Rowell
Marong said the incident happened at
about 12.30 noon behalf of reacting on
the information thus making inspection at the lodging house
Rowel whereupon findings found five
women involved in the lodge waiting for customers.
"These five women detained in
the suspect involved in prostitution activities and does not have any identification
documents" he added.
Rowell said those arrested would be
shredded under section 372B of the Penal Code.
He said prostitution in the town is quite difficult to be eradicated then the public should cooperate
with the police if they know where the places or nests of prostitution.
