AIRPORT UPGRADE PROJECT SANDAKAN WASTE PEOPLE MONEY .....CLAIM WONG

SANDAKAN:- The upgrading of the  project Sandakan Airport International Airport, which is considered to have abused public money to support Malaysia Airlines frequent face huge losses every year Sandakan Member Of Parliament (MP)  Stephen Wong strongly condemns the actions of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) on the phenomenon .



Wong said that when Deputy Minister Datuk AB Aziz Kaprawi visited  to Sandakan, he announced that the cells Eastern after completion of the upgrade of Sandakan Airport, airport capacity can be increased from 80 million to 150 million.

However, Wong said - wondering how to increase tourist influx in the absence of additional aerobridge and lengthen the runway?

Wong stressed that the BN Government has publicly promised to RM120 million allocation to upgrade the Sandakan Airport as International Airport, but the agreement is not reached, allocation was reduced to RM70 million on upgrading the airport is not taken seriously anymore. 

Which deplorable Wong said that the BN government not only failed to make Sabah a famous tourist center but had to recognize the importance of providing Air Asia cheap flights to Sabah many - year and help draw the attention of foreign tourists in Sabah.


"On the other hand, the BN government to support Malaysia Airlines are facing huge losses, particularly the latest information and the loss of RM1.2 billion, and this is a waste of taxpayers' money" Wong told to the Free Sandakan Today this morning.

Wong said the government was only concerned with upgrading Terminal Airport sophisticated but especially the MAS government does not want to increase the number of flight services and how the number of passengers and tourists can improved.
