SANDAKAN:- Cooperation between the
Public Works Department and Sandakan Municipal Council (SMC) in solving people's
problems need to be cultivated and improved to ensure the well-being of local
people.
In the meantime Sandakan Member of Parliament (MP) Stephen Wong Tien Fatt urged the SMC and PWD in order to
cooperate and coordinate efforts to deal with the sewage system in Sandakan.
He stressed that civil servants MPS and PWD has been entrusted by the people with the responsibility to carry out their duties, such as handling problems - problems that occur in their management.

problems that often occur lately, both the SMC and the PWD should coordinate
with each other and take appropriate action as soon as possible, so that the
situation is not getting worse due to the delay.
Wong equal to his special
assistants, and employees of SMC and PWD has carried out site inspections based
on complaints about the failure of the sewage system. He was very concerned about
this issue, especially sewage problems not only affect the environment and
health, it also directly affects the daily lives of the people. Wong also urged the people to
cooperate not throw garbage into the toilet bowl and drain to reduce the
problem sewerage system.
