RTD plans to widen mobile counter services to Sabah

KOTA BAHARU: The Road Transport Derpartment (RTD) plans to widen its van mobile counter services to Sabah and Sarawak.
RTD Deputy Director-General Datuk Arifin Che Mat said the move aimed to facilitate members of the public especially those living in the interior areas in the two states to obtain the department’s services.
In addition, the RTD would add another 12 units of the mobile vans to facilitate members of the public in peninsular Malaysia to carry out transactions with the department, next month, he told reporters here last night.
He said currently, there were only three van mobile counters in each zone namely the north zone, south zone and east coast of peninsular Malaysia. BI
