Sapi Member of Parliament Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin has brought good news to
Kampung Pukat folks whose land titles have either lapsed or expiring soon.
Fresh from her meeting
with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman in Kota Kinabalu to
discuss the matter, Linda said her officers would conduct a registration at the
Sandakan Fishing Tongkang Association from 2pm on May 3 (Sunday) to assist them
in applying for extension.
“Kampung Pukat folks are
advised to bring along their land titles when they turn up at the Sandakan
Fishing Tongkang Association located near the main road at the village,
for registration,” Linda said.
Linda said she would
compile the documents and details to be submitted to the Chief Minister for
further action.
Kampung Pukat is a
fishing village situated a stone’s throw from Bandar Nam Tung in Tanah Merah.
